Za sada samo draft release shedule-a, al vjerojatno na kraju bude ovak nekak

vidim da se pomno prati razvoj KDE-a
Tema će neko vrijeme biti prazna... jer ćemo svi biti oduševljeni sa KDE-om 4.10 pa nećemo imati vremena maštati o 4.11

Čudo, skoro 2 tjedna prošlo, a nikakvih KDE novosti!
New (QML) Desktop Containment, Take 2 (with movie!)
In-progress desktop containment napravljen u QML-u, za sad razlika spram dosadašnjeg containmenta:
- skroz napisan u QML-u
- "drška" izlazi drito iz appleta/widgeta (i sad je uvijek sa desne strane)
- widgeti se ravnaju po nevidljivoj mrežu (makar, dok se widget vuče, u pozadini se vidi di bude uravnan)

Plasma Workspaces 4.11: the last feature release in the 4.x series for kde-workspace
4.11 will be the last feature release of kde-workspace. Plasma Workspaces will be feature
frozen and we are committing to 2 years of maintenance releases of 4.11. The next feature release
of kde-workspace will be Plasma Workspaces 2, based on Qt5.
This does not impact kdelibs, kde-runtime or any KDE application development.

Plasma Workspaces 4.11 is going to significant for two reasons:
It will be the last feature release in the 4.x series of Plasma Workspaces. Feature development will switch fully to the Qt5 and KDE Frameworks 5 based Plasma Workspaces 2.
We will be providing stabilization releases (bug fixes, translation improvements, etc.) for two years for the 4.11 release of KDE Plasma Workspaces.

Genijalna odluka!
Uvijek cemo flejmat o izboru desktopa, ali vecina ce priznati da je KDE ekipa razmisljanjima ispred ostalih. Cak i ispred "velikih komercijalinh igraca"...
