Neuspješna dogradnja na 10.10 Alpha - nema grafičkog sučelja

Izvršio sam dogradnju 10.04. na 10.10 Alpha (64 bitni, AMD). Instalacija je trajala 8 sati i naizgled sve je prošlo u redu. No nakon restarta računala, ono se više ne podiže u grafički način rada.
Pokušao sam riješiti problem sa uputama sa foruma:
U prilogu su moj xorg.conf te xorg.0.log
Ne želim raditi novu čistu instalaciju (mail, conky, brojni drugi programi), već pokušavam popraviti ovu, pa molim za pomoć.
